Founded in 1977, Cato is an influential libertarian
public policy research center. Its Criminal Justice and
Law Enforcement Project has criticized big government
and overzealous prosecution as obstacles to
civil liberties.
Defending Justice is a publication of Political Research Associates (PRA), an independent nonprofit research center that exposes the Right and larger oppressive movements and institutions.
